My Address Book Client shows me the error message "Unable to fetch contacts due to : org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: could not execute query" when it tries to synch with the server. How can I find out, what is the reason?

This error usually indicates a problem with the servers database. If you have recently updated your server you may need to reboot it. If this does not resolve the problem you can try to disable all clients, uninstall the server, reinstall the server and then re-enable the clients one by one. If you have a backup of the servers database you can also try to restore that instead.
