Post MobileMe and ABS
Hello there,
before installing a demo of ABS I would like to know a little more about the behavior of ABS and MobileMe.
In the beginning I assigned to the client computers the same account mobileme and in this case all the contacts and the calendars were syncronized.
Then I decided to upgrade to the family pack of mobile me, it gaves to me four additional account but I can't have the calendar syncronized and I can only share the contacts of the other user.
Will ABS allow me to have the contacts and the calendar syncronized between all users and how it behave with the mobileme syncronization ?
Thank you for your help and sorry for my english.
Best regards,
Capimar

Typically users would use MobileMe to sync ALL their contacts and calendars between their own personal devices and use Address Book Server to sync a selection of groups and calendars with other users. Yes this is supported, but you have to understand that adding MobileMe increases the complexity and makes it more difficult to reproduce any issues as any changes could be caused by either of the applications registered with sync services. Also you should avoid using both MobileMe and Address Book Server between users at the same time as this creates cyclical issues, where changes are continuously passed from one application to the other(s). Use MobileMe to distribute all records on an individual basis and Address Book Server to share with others.

It’s not uncommon to misplace those little things we often take for granted. Like your keys, ball pen or your mobile phone. You overcome the initial panic, collect your thoughts and try to recall the last time you saw them. Should you misplace your beloved and expensive mobile toy, like the iPhone, it’s nice to know there’s a sure recourse that can help you find it.
